Union
Sports Arena Welcomes
Attn:
Leaders, Consultants and Community Managers:
Please find attached information about programs from Union Sports Arena, designed exclusively for the Girl Scouts of Washington Rock Council and Union County.

Three program packages are now in place for Girl
Scouts:
Yes, you read correctly,
we have dedicated the use of our second largest private party room to Girl
Scouts as an alternative meeting place.
Realizing the shortage of meeting places in Union County, Union Sports
Arena offers troops a place to meet in addition to multiple venues for team
building and exercise. Along with
skating, we will be offering the use of our soon-to-be-completed indoor soccer
field. Our Girl Scout Room has already
been used for End of Year Parties, Holiday meetings, Get out of the School /
House meetings and is currently booked for a once a month meeting for one
Brownie Troop that really likes to skate.
All we ask is that you clean up after yourselves. “A Girl Scout leaves a place cleaner than
when she arrived.”
Union Sports Arena now
has enough skates, staff and completed facilities to run large-scale programs
such as Community Skating Events. We do
ask that you offer the event to a variety of ages within your communities, as
we do not have enough skates for 300 Daisy and 1st Grade Brownies at one
time. Some larger Communities may wish
to run events by school or district.
There is plenty of space for all skaters on our fully enclosed,
NHL-sized ice rink and we own over 300 pairs of brand-new skates. We also offer Soft-Tec skates by Jackson for
our younger skaters with small, sensitive feet.
Never skated? All of our staff are skilled skaters, many
of which are on Hockey or Figure Skating teams. They have all been trained and have experience in teaching basic
skills classes. They are here to serve
you and aid you on the ice. We are
dedicated to providing a safe, clean and friendly atmosphere for all to have
fun.
Have
A Great Year in Girl Scouting,
